And the winner is...

Big news! As of 6am today Mike has officially accepted the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton). He had to make the difficult phone calls this morning to reject some great schools: the University of Chicago, the University of North Carolina, and the University of Michigan (the other three were rejected earlier). It was a tough choice that we've been agonizing over for months now, but we think Wharton is the perfect fit for Mike. It is one of the top programs in the country, and it has a really friendly and nurturing attitude toward its students (unlike Chicago, who was pretty cold). We'll be living in the suburbs of Philadelphia, and Mike will probably be commuting to school by train. We were hoping to live closer to the school we chose, but that isn't an option in downtown Philadelphia! School starts in September, so we'll be moving pretty soon after the baby is born in late July. We'll be there for 4 to 5 years, and after that, who knows!

I'm really proud of Mike! This is going to be a good career change for him, and it will be kind of fun to be living the student life again. Both of us are excited and nervous and a little scared, too! Thanks for all of your love and support. We are really going to miss Arizona!
