It seems silly to post this, but Sarah is always encouraging me to write down all of the funny and silly little things the kids do each day. I know it's good advice but I never do, and I promptly forget all of them. So I'm going to write them down in the blog, no matter how ridiculous. I'm a little embarrassed to do it, because I'm not much of a writer and my punchline delivery is notoriously bad. Please bear with me!
Today I was brushing Amelia's teeth with a new toothpaste. She always goes on and on about how delicious her old toothpaste, Fruit Splash (gross) is and brushing teeth is always accompanied by lot of "mmmmmms" and "yummys". The new toothpaste has a picture of Thomas the Tank Engine on it, so tonight she goes, "mmmmmmm, yummy, this new toothpaste tastes like... (examines the picture) Thomas the Train. Mmmmmmmm!" Mike and I couldn't suppress our laughter. I'm sure Thomas is delicious.

One time I caught Amelia trying to squeeze an entire tube of her old toothpaste into her mouth. I wish I felt that way about my toothpaste - I'm sure my oral hygiene would be significantly improved!
Good job Jess! That's a funny story, definitely worth remembering. Now you need to print the page to keep in your journal. I'm sure Ryan has some advise for you if your oral hygiene needs improvement Mike!
