Chanticleer Gardens

Today we went to Chanticleer Gardens with a playgroup from church. It was such a beautiful day, and a perfect day to be outside. It was around 70 degrees with a little breeze and no humidity. The gardens were so beautiful and had tons of interesting areas to see. There were lots of hydrangeas (my favorite flower), ponds, fountains, bridges, and every kind of bee imaginable! The kids had a great time, unless a bee came near them and then they'd scream. Here are some photos from our adventure.

Amelia in front of a giant leaf.
Amelia saw these and said, "Mommy, look at those water shooters!"
A very cool old house. The extra child is from the playgroup.
Amelia checking out an interesting stone book.
Colin can always find the most comfortable place to sit down!
Poor Colin has a runny nose. He couldn't smell the flowers, but he had fun anyway.
Discussing the terrifying bees.
Clinging to each other for protection. (Not really, I just told them to hug for the photo!)
